Unlike traditional insurance, IncomeSafe is community-powered. Your contributions go directly into a community pool — not a corporate insurer's profits. We also include career coaching and financial guidance.
IncomeSafe is open to all salaried professionals in India aged 18–55, employed in the private sector for at least 6 months. Freelancers and self-employed are not currently eligible.

Coverage
IncomeSafe covers involuntary job loss: company-initiated layoffs, company closure or insolvency, and mass redundancies. Not covered: voluntary resignation, termination for misconduct, or performance-related dismissals.
Yes. There is a 90-day waiting period from your enrollment date before you can file a claim. This protects the community pool and ensures all members contribute before accessing benefits.
Starter covers up to 3 months, Professional up to 6 months, and Elite up to 12 months.
Approximately 50% of your last declared monthly take-home salary, capped at your plan's maximum (₹15K for Starter, ₹40K for Professional, ₹1L for Elite).
Claims
Log in to your dashboard, go to File a Claim, and upload your layoff letter. Our team reviews within 48 hours. Once approved, the first payment arrives within 72 hours via NEFT/IMPS.
Required: official layoff/retrenchment letter, last 3 months payslips, bank account details, and Aadhaar/PAN if KYC not completed.
Starter: 72 hours. Professional: 48 hours. Elite: 24-hour priority. Disbursement is made within 24 hours of approval.
You will receive a detailed explanation. You can appeal within 14 days with additional documentation, or escalate to our independent grievance committee.
Pricing
Yes, cancel anytime from your dashboard. Monthly cancellations take effect at end of cycle. Annual plans receive a prorated refund. Re-enrolling restarts the 90-day waiting period.

Yes. Upgrades take effect immediately with prorated billing. Downgrades take effect from the next billing cycle.

Fully compliant with India's DPDP Act 2023. All data is AES-256 encrypted at rest and TLS 1.3 in transit, stored only in India. We never sell your data.
